Over the past three years your support, encouragement, and trust have meant everything to me. Now, I’m asking for your continued support at the polls this month during Early Voting or in-person on Election Day.
Tom Harris is focused on:
- Financial accountability - timely review of all major expenses by City Council
- Public safety - work with law enforcement to reduce Rocky Mount's crime rate
- Job creation and business development - enhance current programs offered by schools, community colleges and other organizations to strengthen labor force training
- Affordable housing and child care
Results since Tom Harris was elected as the Ward 6 council representative:
- Chosen by City Council colleagues to serve as Mayor Pro Tem.
- Helped end Special Housing Grants that only benefitted a few select nonprofits.
- Voted against property tax increases in both the 2025 and 2026 budgets.
